World Ducati Week 2016: It’s A Ducati Scrambler ReunionThe coming WDW2016 will also be the occasion for the first Scrambler Reunion. The Ducati Scrambler Land of Joy is organising the first large-scale reunion for Scrambler fans from around the world at the 9th edition of the World Ducati Week, to be held at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli from 1 to 3 July. Only launched in 2015, this iconic Bologna-made motorcycle has turned into an authentic way of life in the space of just a few months. Thousands of fans all over the world have been seduced by the Ducati Scrambler and more than 16,000 bikes have been sold in its first year.

While at the previous edition of the WDW the Ducati Scrambler was presented with its Land of Joy as a preview of the style that would become a trend, the large-scale reunion at the 2016 edition marks the first chance for a get-together, where the world of Ducati Scrambler can gather, ready to share their motorcycle passion and love of self-expression.

Scrambler fans are expected to arrive at Misano from the four corners of the globe and will be welcomed at the fun, yellow-themed Scrambler Land of Joy – a huge 1,400 square metre area where they can breathe the all-engaging, fun atmosphere of California in Venice Beach style. Just like an enormous fun-fair with rides, attractions, appealing street food and much more, the Scrambler fans who make it to WDW2016 can take part in all kinds of activities.

The many attractions organised by the Land of Joy at WDW2016 will include climbing displays thanks to an artificial climbing wall where everyone can have a go. Basketball games will then be organised at the playground set up for the occasion, live music non-stop with the Scrambler Music Marathon performed by members of the Ducati staff with their various bands and there are lots of other surprises still under wraps!

The new Ducati Scrambler Sixty2 and Flat Track Pro models will of course be there and available to visitors for test rides, as will all the other models in the Ducati Scrambler range. The Scrambler Land of Joy will also host a Flat Track course run by expert instructors and professional riders, teaching the skills of drifting on dirt-track circuits in total safety.

But the excitement doesn’t stop here! The evening of Friday 1 July will be brought to life by the Scrambler Party at Aquafan in Riccione where fun is guaranteed with slides and swimming pools, soap bubbles and music from the ’90s.

WDW2016 will also host the prize-giving of the highly popular Scrambler Custom Rumble contest dedicated to the best Ducati Scrambler specials created by Ducati dealers from around the world. The five finalists have already been chosen and the best bike of all will be voted for at the World Ducati Week by a super-jury of experts. The rich programme of attractions in Ducati Scrambler style at the World Ducati Week 2016 will be complemented by a large shop area stocked with all the latest items of apparel and accessories designed by the Ducati Scrambler brand.

To keep up to date with preparations by Ducati Scrambler for WDW2016, check out any of the Land of Joy social channels where you can follow the adventures of Bart, the mascot who’ll reveal the multitude of activities organised for fans at the first Scrambler Reunion with a short video each week.
