The Monster colour range expands with the new Sport Livery, joining Ducati Red and Iceberg White unveiled last October during the launch of the new Monster.
The new livery draws inspiration from the colour scheme of the iconic S4, the first four-valve Monster in history. The combination of grey with Racing Red on the wheels and details on the seat, flyscreen, tail section and fuel tank creates a look that is both sporty and elegant. The Sport Livery is also available for the Plus version, which adds a front fairing and passenger seat cover to further enhance the Monster’s sporty character.
With its torque-rich V2 engine, perfectly suited for road use, the Monster is Borgo Panigale’s most iconic naked bike. A bike that guarantees great ease of riding without compromising on fun and performance.
Ideal both for those approaching the world of two wheels and for experienced riders, the new Monster combines compactness and lightness in a modern formula that renews the concept of the naked sports bike invented by Ducati. The Monster’s performance is always manageable thanks to category-leading electronics and is paired with a modern and authentic style. At the same time, the Monster retains the DNA of the first generation from 1993: a torque-rich, exciting and high-performing V2 engine combined with a Superbike-derived frame, which in this new generation is an aluminium monocoque. Everything you need, nothing more.
Lightness has always been one of the Monster’s key strengths. Every component has been designed to be as lightweight as possible, from the monocoque frame to the rear subframe made of a techno-polymer/trellis mix, resulting in a total weight reduction of 4 kg compared to the already very light previous generation. The result is an agile and compact motorcycle, capable of easily navigating traffic while ensuring full control in any situation.
The Monster’s ease of handling is supported by a comfortable riding position, designed to make the rider feel at ease at all times. The seat height of just 815 mm and the bike’s narrow sides allow riders to easily place their feet on the ground, while the positioning of the footpegs and handlebar enhances the feeling of control during sporty riding and at the same time ensures comfort in more relaxed use. This comfortable setup increases the possibilities for enjoyable riding at any skill level.
The authentic and modern design focuses on the essentials and highlights the Monster’s distinctive features. Slimmer, sportier, and more dynamic, the new Monster reinterprets the stylistic elements that have always defined the naked bike par excellence: the headlight framed by the “shoulders” of the bison-back fuel tank, the single seat for rider and passenger, and the short, lightweight tail section.
The Monster’s electronics package is state-of-the-art. Standard equipment includes ABS Cornering, Traction Control, Wheelie Control, and Engine Brake Control, adjustable on multiple levels; all essential riding information is clearly displayed on the 5″ colour TFT display, which is ready for the Ducati Multimedia System and turn-by-turn navigation. For the first time, the Monster can also be equipped with Cruise Control, making any journey more relaxing.
Intuitive and fun, the Monster can change character at the touch of a button thanks to four Riding Modes specifically designed to simplify and enhance riding in any situation. Less experienced riders and those who use the Monster mainly for city commuting will find it easier and quicker to gain confidence with the naked Ducati thanks to the Urban Riding Mode. Sportier riders will appreciate the engine’s punch in the Sport Riding Mode, ideal for twisty mountain roads. They can also rely on the safety provided by the electronic management system, including DTC (Ducati Traction Control), DWC (Ducati Wheelie Control), EBC (Engine Brake Control), and ABS Cornering. Finally, Ducati Power Launch delivers the thrill of MotoGP-style starts for all enthusiasts.
The engine is the new Euro 5+ homologated V2, with class-leading maintenance intervals: valve clearance check and adjustments are required only every 45,000 km. Maximum power and torque figures are 111 hp at 9,000 rpm and 91.1 Nm at 7,250 rpm, respectively, delivering more than 80% of peak torque between 4,000 and 10,000 rpm. Thanks to this responsive power delivery – traditionally a hallmark of the Monster – and a complete and sophisticated electronic management system, the new V2 delivers its performance safely and without ever being demanding for the rider. For A2 license holders, the Monster is also available in a 35 kW depowered version.
Enthusiasts can choose to customise their Monster with a wide range of Ducati Performance accessories: from a homologated Termignoni silencer to an engine belly pan and racing license plate holder. All accessories, made with high-quality components, can be viewed in the “Configurator” section on Ducati.com, along with a wide selection of helmets, jackets, and pants – everything required to meet the needs of every Monsterista and enjoy riding safely and in style.
The 2026 DRE Road calendar is also available on Ducati.com, the exclusive Ducati riding course with top-level instructors and including the Monster range among the featured models.
The Monster in Sport Livery will be available starting from £12,495 (£12,795 for the Plus version) at all UK Ducati dealerships starting in April/May 2026.
The brand new Monster, powered by the V2 twin engine, now joins the Hypermotard 698 and Scrambler models, all available through the Ducati Accelerate PCP plan where you have the option to pay 50% upfront, enjoy two years of zero monthly payments and 0% APR Representative interest, then choose to Keep your bike by paying the remaining 50%, trade up to a new Ducati or simply return it.
