New Triumph Speed Twin And Thruxton Tfc To Make Uk Debut At London Motorcycle Show

The new Triumph Speed Twin and Thruxton TFC will be making their UK public debut at this year’s London Motorcycle Show.

Following its global reveal earlier this month, the Thruxton TFC will line up alongside the new Speed Twin and the full MY19 range on the Triumph stand at ExCel London from 15-17 February.

Triumph’s Thruxton TFC is the first in the line-up of Triumph Factory Custom offerings and is 10PS more powerful than the Thruxton R, lighter, fitted with even higher specification components and limited to only 750 units worldwide. Representing the absolute pinnacle of Triumph’s design, engineering and craftsmanship, each is individually numbered and never to be repeated.

Delivering advanced rider technology and cutting edge roadster performance, the new Speed Twin offers a whole new standard in dynamic riding capability with an enhanced chassis setup, top tier Brembo brakes, high specification suspension and hair-raising power delivery.

For off-road fans, the Adventure Riding Experience Team will be on the Triumph stand all weekend offering riders the chance to take on an unforgettable riding experience at the Triumph Adventure Centre at the foot of the Brecon Beacons in South Wales. Also on the stand is Globebusters offering global motorcycle expeditions and tours. Visitors can also get a live quote for financing and insuring a Triumph motorcycle by speaking to one of the reps on the Triumph stand.

Featuring at this year’s show is the Michelin “Thunderdrome” live action show, a race inspired by boardtrack racers of the 1900s run on a 45-degree banked oval. Iconic riders Wayne Gardner and Neil Hodgson will battle it out on track against BSB riders from past and present.

Paul Lilly, General Manager at Triumph Motorcycles UK & Ireland, said: “The MCN London Motorcycle Show is a great opportunity for riders to get up close to the new Speed Twin and our first ever TFC model, both which have been met with great fanfare. It’s a great event to be part of and we’re excited to showcase the new Triumph range to the UK public.”

Adult tickets start at £18 if booked online with discounted rates available for students and senior citizens. Children 15 and under can attend for free.
