Motorbike Coolant Ready Mix Hybrid and Motorbike Coolant Ready Mix OAT will be available for riders worldwide.
The German lubricant specialist is expanding its product range and offers two coolants that cover a broad range of specifications being suitable for most motorcycles on the market.
As with cars, coolants protect motorcycle engines from overheating and ensure a constant, stable operating temperature. They also protect from frost and corrosion and therefore enable safe year-round vehicle operation. LIQUI MOLY is introducing its first coolants specifically for motorbikes on the market.

”We are keeping a close eye on the market and our target groups and we see a strong international demand for these products”, says Markus Kastner, export business development manager at LIQUI MOLY. “That’s why we decided to introduce two coolants that are adapted to the needs of riders worldwide.”
Motorbike Coolant Ready Mix Hybrid and Motorbike Coolant Ready Mix OAT are premixed products based on ethylene glycol with a mixing ratio of 50:50. They are available in 1-liter canisters and ready to use.
They differ in the technology used and therefore the engines they are suitable for. They are both based on ethylene glycol. However, Motorbike Coolant Ready Mix OAT uses organic acid technology and is silicate-free. It is therefore especially suitable for modern high-performance aluminum engines. Both products are amine-, phosphate- and nitrite-free. Moreover, Motorbike Coolant Ready Mix OAT doesn’t contain any borates.
LIQUI MOLY recommends the new coolants for vehicles for which the following specifications are required: ASTM D3306/D4656, British Standards BS6580, and JASO M325. Motorbike Coolant Ready Mix Hybrid is also suitable for motorcycles that require BMW GS 94000, French Standard NFR 15-601, G11, and Swiss Fed. Lab. Empa. Motorbike Coolant Ready Mix OAT is also recommended for G12+ specification.
“It’s important to always observe manufacturers specifications when choosing the coolant as the wrong coolant can lead to severe engine damage”, Markus Kastner states. “We also advise to take care of completely changing the fluid and to always clean the cooling system before refilling.”
