Lightech For Kawasaki Z900: When Italian Design Meets Pure Japanese PowerLighTech introduces its brand-new range of premium accessories dedicated to the Kawasaki Z900. A comprehensive collection spanning from licence plate holders to lever kits, chain adjusters, and adjustable rearsets.

The bold character of the Kawasaki Z900 enters a new era thanks to LighTech’s exclusive touch. This dedicated accessory line has been meticulously crafted to personalise the iconic Japanese naked bike, elevating the distinctive traits of its celebrated Sugomi design philosophy. Developed to blend seamlessly with the motorcycle’s silhouette, every single component accentuates its aggressive stance and track-ready spirit. Each detail stands as a testament to the excellence of Made in Italy design and meticulous craftsmanship. LighTech has created a collection tailored for those who wish to transform their Kawasaki Z900 into an exclusive, sophisticated masterpiece, perfect for riders who demand to stand out on the road.

LighTech License plate holder: cleaner, sleeker, and more compact
Upgrading the license plate holder has always been one of the very first modifications riders bestow upon their bikes. LighTech reinvents this timeless classic by seamlessly marrying strict street-legal compliance with a complete aesthetic overhaul, offering a comprehensive kit equipped with a certified license plate light and reflector. The new model transcends the limits of its predecessor, which left cables and galvanised screws overly exposed.

Viewed from the side, a sleek M6 screw (replacing the previous M8) now catches the eye, paired with a London Grey anodised washer, an anthracite dual-colour license plate light featuring the brand logo, and a brand-new profile. Cable management has been completely revolutionised: the hidden lateral housing creates a seamless, fully enclosed single block, ensuring an ultra-minimalist and clean aesthetic. The proportions have also been refined through a significantly downsized rear triangle.

Functionally, the system introduces a micrometric adjustment mechanism that guarantees absolute locking stability without the need for over-tightening. Finally, the old rivets have made way for a practical bayonet coupling that slides smoothly into the mounting hole, securely locked into place by a single, subtle black screw.

Brake and clutch levers: Made in Italy, chosen by World Championship Champions
LighTech brake and clutch levers are engineered in full compliance with road regulations, reflecting the brand’s unwavering commitment to safety and legal conformity. Thanks to their ultra-lightweight construction and technical superiority, these components are trusted and utilized by some of the world-class teams across MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3, and WSBK paddocks.

Lightech For Kawasaki Z900: When Italian Design Meets Pure Japanese PowerThe LighTech range is offered in three distinct variants:

  • Model J: classic, sophisticated version featuring a sleek, fully black finish.
  • Model K (Alien):engineered for riders seeking ultimate control, it features black rubber inserts for enhanced grip, customizable with a wide palette of colors available separately.
  • Model H:the latest addition to the family distinguishing itself with a completely redesigned, cutting-edge geometry.

All models are folding and 100% Made in Italy—a source of Italian pride proudly highlighted by the tricolor logo on every piece. Entirely machined from magnesium and aluminum, LighTech levers deliver superior structural strength and a significant weight reduction compared to stock OEM components.

Lightech For Kawasaki Z900: When Italian Design Meets Pure Japanese PowerLighTech chain adjusters: extremely precise
Machined from solid billet Ergal 7075—a premium alloy specifically selected for its exceptional structural integrity—LighTech chain adjusters are designed to offer a vastly more accurate and intuitive chain management experience compared to standard components. They feature an external screw adjustment that makes every tuning process both rapid and exquisitely precise. Setting up the bike is made even effortless by a sharp, laser-engraved graduated scale on the adjuster body. To complement the motorcycle’s aesthetics perfectly, the LighTech offering is available in three distinct anodized finishes: Black, Red, and Green.

LighTech adjustable rearsets: the essence of racing for maximum control
LighTech introduces a rearset kit inspired by the renowned R version—a line born with the sole purpose of redefining performance standards on the track. This specific setup distinguishes itself through folding footpegs and toe pegs: an engineering solution designed to accommodate extreme lean angles while minimizing damage in the event of a slide.

These elements perfectly work with premium carbon fiber heel guards, engineered to deliver lightweight performance and structural rigidity while ensuring optimal ergonomics and a distinctly racing aesthetic.

Further elevating the structure is the titanium hardware—a technical choice that cuts out every single superfluous gram while guaranteeing maximum resistance to corrosion and the most severe mechanical stress.
