Ace Cafe London’s annual “Red Oktober – Eastern Bloc Vehicle Meet Special”, at the cafe 9am to 5pm Sunday 19th October, includes teaming up with the IFA Club, the UK home of Eastern Bloc vehicles, many of which only became familiar in UK after the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989 and German unification in 1990
From Lada, Skoda, Tatra, Trabant, Volga, Wartburg, Zastava, Zaporozhets, Zil, and Multicar, to the two-wheelers from Simson mopeds to Cossack, CZ, DKW, Dnepr, Jawa, Junak, MZ, and Ural motorbikes, the Ace welcomes all who have an interest in the eclectic vehicles produced behind the Iron Curtain during the Cold War period.
