“MAD Sunday + Courier Day II & Ace Cafe Club Summer Meet”
7th June
9am – 5pm
Whether you’re thinking about taking up riding or if you are a new or experienced rider, and with bikes through the years generally getting faster and sharper, the cafes annual Motorcycle Awareness Day (MAD Sunday) is focused on the powered two-wheeled community, and this year includes with Courier Day and the Ace Cafe Club Summer Meet!
The brainchild of Dave Gurman, former London despatch rider and editor of “The Rider’s Digest”, and with prizes up for grabs to include a fancy snazzy ruby red carbon fibre helmet and a pair of hi tech Gore-Tex gloves – all you do is to turn up at the Ace on June 7th and if you can prove that you were or still are a courier (or get someone with the credentials to vouch for you), your name will go into the lid and if you’re the lucky one, hey presto you will be heading home with a nice new bit of kit (helmet or gloves).
