The new LS2 Zirconium Evo jacket addresses a challenge every urban rider knows intimately: finding gear that genuinely works both for riding and everyday wear. Too often, riders face a choice between proper protection and practicality, ending up with kit that spends most of its time bundled under a desk or stuffed in a pannier.
Catering for both worlds, the Zirconium Evo combines stretch softshell and ripstop outer fabrics with an 8000mm waterproof rating and 5000g breathability, keeping riders dry and comfortable; whether they’re filtering through morning traffic or nipping out for a sandwich at lunchtime.

A removable thermal liner and detachable hood offer instant adaptability to seasonal changes without needing separate jackets: add both for the cold, wet days; remove them when it warms up, and you’ve got a practical and great-looking jacket that doesn’t scream ‘motorcycle gear’ in the office or on the street.
Designed to deal with the challenges of year-round urban riding, two chest and sleeve vents provide adjustable airflow on the bike, while a large rain tunnel flap and inner water outlet system ensure moisture is managed effectively.
The front zip features a titanium semi-automatic lock for secure closure, with wind-stop cuffs, an adjustment cord at the hem, and a soft fabric-lined neoprene collar to maximise comfort and fit. The lightweight stretch softshell construction means the jacket moves naturally with the rider, on and off the bike.
Protection is also on point: the Zirconium meets Class A certification under EN 17092-4:2020 and comes with removable CE-certified elbow protectors, featuring two adjustable positions for comfort. External shoulder protectors add impact resistance, while dual-function inner pockets accommodate optional LS2 CE chest protectors (£14.99). There’s also a pocket for the LS2 851 Level 2 back protector (£29.99).
The LS2 Zirconium Evo is available in sizes S to 5XL, priced at £179.99including VAT. It’s offered in two colourways: Blue/Black/Hi-Vis Yellow for maximum visibility, and Black/Red for riders who prefer a more subtle look.
