Spitfire Helmet Flies In
Old school style meets new tech in the LS2 Spitfire open-face helmet.
The outer shell is made from HTTP – High Pressure Thermoplastic Technology – which offers high penetration resistance and flexibility for energy dispersion, and is light, at just 1150g. Naturally, it’s fully ECE 22.05 certified.
The drop down sun visor is easily operated with gloved hands, and has both short and long-step positions to choose between. Like all LS2 visors, it’s made from 3D Optically Correct A-Class Polycarbonate: a space-age polymer with high resistance to impact, that avoids distortion and offers maximum clarity. It’s also scratch and UV-resistant. Should the wearer prefer to wear goggles, there’s a retaining strap at the back.
Inside is a breathable, hypoallergenic liner for comfort and freshness. An oval shell shape, with laser-cut foam inserts and a neck roll, gives a snug comfortable fit. It’s secured by a quick-release steel buckle fastening.
Equally at home on a custom bike, scooter or classic, the Spitfire’s demi-jet design offers all-round vision on busy streets, and it is compact enough to fit in most top boxes or the underseat storage compartments on scooters.
The LS2 Spitfire is available in sizes XS-XXL (53-64 cm); prices start £69.99 for solid colours. Graphics cost £79.99 and the Solid Chrome is £109.99. Visit www.ls2helmets.com for more information and to find your local stockist.
