Phoenix Gears Up For A Busy Year Of MotorcyclingPhoenix Motorcycle Training expands its local training centre network and predicts a busy year of motorcycling.

The UK’s largest and highest rated motorcycle training organisation, Phoenix Motorcycle Training, is predicting 2026 to be the biggest for motorcycling in recent years. The company is backing its claim by opening a new training centre in Peterborough with another location to follow soon. Phoenix is also calling for more instructors to join them in introducing new people to motorcycling and skilling up existing riders.

The decision to open the new training facility in Peterborough comes after a hectic 2025 with 5608 CBTs completed, 1680 students completing their full licence training, and 501 enrolling in Advanced Rider Training.

The new centre in Peterborough brings the total of local Phoenix training centres to 22, further cementing the company’s place as the UK’s largest motorcycle training provider, and increasing its capacity to introduce more people to the joys of motorcycling.

Phoenix Motorcycle Training Peterborough is located just five miles from the city centre of Peterborough, close to local bus routes. The site covers the city of Peterborough as well as Fletton, Yaxley, Wansford, Werrington, Stamford, Sawtry, Corby and Wisbech.

The new centre is already up and running, with the online booking system live at https://phoenixmotorcycletraining.co.uk/motorcycle-training-centre/peterborough/ to allow people to book their place and enjoy an introductory discount of 10% with the code NEW26 (offer available until 1st March 2026).

Training will take place seven days a week, and where relevant, DVSA test slots are booked up to ten weeks in advance to ensure learners can sit their tests as soon as possible after their lessons. Full safety equipment is provided with all training courses.

The Peterborough centre offers a full range of courses including Try Ride, Pre-CBT, Compulsory Basic Training (CBT), Full Licence training (DAS) and Advanced Rider courses. Ensuring that learners are equipped with the best tools to complete their training, the centre offers a range of new motorcycles, hand-picked to suit the needs of learners and meet the latest test requirements.

Facilities include tea and coffee, toilets, and large DVSA-approved training areas perfect for all types of motorcycle, moped and scooter lessons. The centre is close to a variety of on-road conditions ideal for CBT and full licence practical training.

The Phoenix approach
The Phoenix philosophy is to make motorcycling accessible, safe and fun. This starts with high-quality customer service to find the right training and approach for every learner, regardless of their experience or ability.

The main aim for training is always to ensure that the learners become safe riders, and to achieve this Phoenix goes above and beyond to cater for everyone. In addition to standard CBT, full licence and advanced riding courses, Phoenix instructors are able to tailor the training to suit people who require additional support. This could be anything from rescheduling timeframes to suit a busy schedule or making adjustments to locations, equipment and approach to allow for disabilities.

Instructors at Phoenix Motorcycle Training are highly experienced and trained to be the best in the industry. All new Phoenix motorcycle instructors gain a nationally recognised Level 3 Award in Education and Training qualification as part of their instructor training, giving them the ability to adapt their training style to different students and ensuring that learner needs are met at the highest standard. Phoenix also employs a number of instructors who have completed the Motorcycle Mental Health training to be able to assist learners with mental health issues.

The Phoenix fleet of learner mopeds, motorcycles and scooters consists of the latest machines, specifically chosen to make learning easy and enjoyable. In addition to standard bikes there is a number of modified options to cater for all learners.

There is no better indicator of training quality and customer satisfaction than the reviews of genuine learners, and Phoenix is consistently the highest rated motorcycle training organisation in the UK.

Mark Jaffe, owner and chief instructor at Phoenix Motorcycle Training, said: “We are delighted to be opening the new training centre in Peterborough. This will enable us to introduce more people to life on two wheels, as well as give existing riders further training to make them even more skilled and safe on the roads. 2026 looks to be a great year for motorcycling!”
