The Scope’s impressive specification starts with the outer shell, which is made from HTTP composite for high penetration resistance, with the necessary flexibility for energy dispersion. It comes in three outer shell sizes, for the smallest possible outline in each size range, and weighs 1650 grams.
Aerodynamic shaping helps keep the head stable at speed, reducing pressure on the neck and fatigue – a real bonus when covering distances. A chin curtain keeps wind and weather out, as well as reducing annoying and tiring wind noise.
The quick-release visor is made from 3D Optically Correct A-Class Polycarbonate: which has high resistance to impact and avoids distortion, for maximum clarity. The wide visor aperture gives improved peripheral vision, a Pinlock anti-fog shield is included.and there’s a handy drop-down sun visor to combat glare from the sun too.
Inside, the hypoallergenic liner is removable and washable for season-long freshness. Dynamic Flow-through Ventilation – with intake ports at the chin and crown, internal channels and exhaust ports to the rear – helps keep the rider cool and comfortable.
An oval shell shape and laser-cut EPS and foam cheek inserts ensure a reassuringly snug and comfortable fit. A quick-release buckle fastening holds the Scope firmly in place.
