Chester Based Motorcycle Accessories Retailer Moto Planet today announces the launch of Search by Registration, a new tool designed to reduce fitment guesswork when buying motorcycle parts and accessories online, supported by a Fitment Guarantee.

The growth of online in the industry has made it harder for riders to buy bike-specific parts and accessories with confidence. Search by Registration eliminates fitment uncertainty by only returning products that are compatible with the rider’s exact bike in seconds.
In its current form, Search by Registration is exclusive to Moto Planet and sister site Bike Luggage. Moto Planet Spokesman Emyr Harris Commented:
“Riding is becoming more of a hassle, and it’s no secret that less people are getting into riding. A comprehensive, multi-brand Search By Registration system for aftermarket kit is just one of the innovations we’re looking to bring to the market to try and reverse that trend.
It’s a great first step and will make it much easier for riders to make their bike suit them better.
The idea came about after a customer told us about his poor experience using Ebay’s ‘assured fit’ system- which had led to the wrong part being ordered multiple times. After learning this is a common story, we were determined to solve the issue. We don’t want to see biking fall behind.”

Availability & delivery
Search by Registration is live from 11th March 2026 on Moto Planet (and Bike Luggage).
For in-stock items, orders placed before 2:30pm Monday–Friday are dispatched the same day. If any item on the order is out of stock, Moto Planet will hold the order until all items are ready to ship.
