Harrison Billet Goes To HelHEL Performance (helperformance.com), a leading UK manufacturer of high-performance stainless steel braided brake lines, fittings and billet brake calipers, today announced the acquisition of Harrison Billet (billet.co.uk), the renowned specialist in precision-machined billet brake calipers and discs for motorcycles.

The strategic acquisition combines HEL Performance’s expertise in fluid transfer systems and modern billet caliper design with Harrison Billet’s long-established legacy of crafting bespoke, high-quality calipers and discs for over 140 models of European, Japanese, and American motorcycles—including an extensive range for Harley-Davidson models since 1971.

Harrison Billet, founded in the 1980’s, has built a global reputation for its fully CNC-machined components that deliver exceptional strength, reduced weight, and superior braking performance. By integrating Harrison Billet’s product portfolio and manufacturing know-how into HEL Performance’s operations, the combined entity will offer one of the most comprehensive ranges of aftermarket and performance braking solutions in the industry.

Simon Lane, of HEL Performance, said “We feel very honoured to be adding the Harrison Billet name to our current product line up. This acquisition allows us to have two separate brand lines covering the full range of motorcycles and will allow the Harrison Billet brand to expand further. When I started in business Ken Harrison was one of the first people I spoke to in the trade who gave me his time freely – helping me out, getting me into a few places and really backing us to get going – so, although he is sadly no longer with us, it feels like we have ‘come home’ and to continue his name and passion for the industry is something we are honoured to do. Huge thanks to Janine and Peter (current owners) for their support, talking to me for a few years about this possibility and allowing us to continue with all the hard work they have put in.”Harrison Billet Goes To Hel

The transition will enable HEL Performance to enhance production capabilities at its UK HQ, where they make all their own CNC Billet products in house, and continue supporting customers through its established dealer network and direct channels. Existing Harrison Billet products will remain available under the brand and more products are in the design process to expand the Billet range.

Janine, of Harrison Billet, said “Before we kick our foot peg off – 20 plus years ago we became owners of Harrison BILLET the most iconic UK manufacturer of motorcycle calipers and discs.  Primarily for Harley’s and Custom builds but now the fitment list includes European and Japanese motorbikes.

Over the years and through shows at Ally Pally, Earls Court, Rosmalen and Ultrecht in the Zodiac Dealers Zone, BRIGHTONA and EXCEL (and in particular the Custom Bike Show and Competition we organised) we have continued to grow.Harrison Billet Goes To Hel

These would not have been successful without the support and trust of you all – from the passionate guy in his shed building his dream bike to custom bike builders, dealers and all customers.

The trust, respect and love you have all shown us both will remain with us now and into the future. We have made good friendships and strong bonds with so many of you, wherever you are in the world, which is something that will stay with us forever.

It would be easy to reminisce about all the fun we have had – catching Ton’s (The Godfather) profiteroles, Larry’s blow-up Sheep or celebrating my 60th birthday with many of you to name just a few…

In the motorcycle world we all have our unique individual ways but are bound by honour, compassion and respect for each other and love of motorbikes which is something rarely found these days. We are now stepping back and leaving Harrison BILLET in the safe hands of Simon at HEL Performance with the support of Derek, Harrison BILLET’s chief engineer.

Before we disappear we would like to personally thank you all for everything. We know Harrison BILLET will continue to be the best UK manufacturer of motorcycle calipers and discs.

Thank you for THE RIDE OF A LIFETIME  – Peter and Janine
