Ace Cafe London: Brooklands Motorcycle Day Ride Out Sunday 5th July Departs 9.30am
Sunday 5th July
Departs 9.30am
Celebrating 119th anniversary of Brooklands having opened 1907, the legendary venue once again comes alive with the Brooklands Motorcycle Show and the sights, sounds and smells of speed at the world’s first purpose built motor racing track, and home of the now iconic “Gold Star” (awarded at Brooklands for achieving sustained speeds of at least 100mph, the ton!).
Noting that 2026 is both the 89th anniversary of BSA winning a coveted “Goldstar” whilst racing at Brooklands in 1937 and the 88th anniversary of the launch in 1938 of the BSA Goldstar motorcycle celebrating this success, coincidentally having originally opened in 1938 the Ace also shares this 88th anniversary!
In addition to displays of the latest and historic bikes, club and trade stands, this annual show is the main Brooklands Museum motorcycle event of the year.

BROOKLANDS – the world’s first purpose-built motor racing circuit, constructed at Weybridge, Surrey in 1907 – was more than a great sporting arena. Brooklands was the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation, home of Concorde and the site of many engineering and technological achievements throughout eight decades of the 20th century. Brooklands Museum Trust is an independent charitable trust.
