Departing the Ace 10.30am
ROUTE:
A406, A13, A127 to Southend & the A1160/Southchurch Ave.(formerly the Kursaal and now Tesco) to the seafront:
Entrance to Road Closure Starting at Marine Parade (strictly for motorcycles and trikes, i.e. no quads, cars, vans, LGV’s or HGVs permitted)
With a west-bound one-way traffic system in place
Exit at End of Road Closure on Western Esplanade
NB: With Gallows Corner fly over closed, avoid A12
NOTICE:
As guests of Southend and this free to enter motorcycle event, we thank you in advance for your understanding and co-operation in ensuring that the event is accessible and safe for all who attend
We ask that you do not park any vehicle on the pavements or block the footways and emergency routes (Think Lifeboat, Fire Brigade & Medics!), and adhere to the directions and requests of Shakedown staff & marshals
Please note that the seafront road will be open to the public (and bikes) from 9am. The event closes at 5pm
