Another new motorcycle school marks the commitment of Phoenix Motorcycle Training to bringing new people into motorcycling, and ensuring current riders get the skills they need.Fresh from announcing a new motorcycle training centre in Peterborough last week, the UK’s largest and highest rated motorcycle training organisation, Phoenix Motorcycle Training, continues to invest in rider training with the opening of a new centre in Bicester, with more new locations planned for the near future.
The new school in Bicester is the latest of 23 local Phoenix training centres, increasing the company’s capacity to introduce more people to the joys of motorcycling and to offer further training to existing bikers.
Phoenix Motorcycle Training Bicester is located at the Bicester Motion Innovation Centre. The centre is just 12 minutes away from the centre of Bicester, with plenty of onsite parking and good transport links. The train and bus stations are just a two-minute walk away. Phoenix Bicester covers the Bicester area, as well as the wider area and towns of Stratton Audley, Oxford, Kingswood, Boarstall, Blenheim and Buckingham.
The new centre is now fully operational, with the online booking system live at https://phoenixmotorcycletraining.co.uk/motorcycle-training-centre/bicester/. Training will take place seven days a week, and where relevant, DVSA test slots are booked up to ten weeks in advance to ensure learners can sit their tests as soon as possible after receiving lessons. Full safety equipment is provided with all training courses.
The Bicester centre offers a full range of courses including Compulsory Basic Training (CBT), Full Licence training (DAS) and Advanced Rider courses. All training can be customised to meet learners’ individual requirements regarding approach, equipment and schedules.
Ensuring that learners are equipped with the best tools to complete their training, the centre offers a range of new automatic and manual motorcycles, specifically chosen to make learning easy and enjoyable. In addition to standard bikes, the centre can offer modified options to cater for all learners.
Facilities include toilets, tea and coffee, and large DVSA-approved training areas perfect for all types of motorcycle, moped and scooter lessons. The centre is close to a variety of on-road conditions ideal for CBT and full-licence practical training.
Mark Jaffe, owner and chief instructor at Phoenix Motorcycle Training, said: “It has been a great start to the year. It’s only January, and we’ve already opened two new Phoenix Motorcycle Training centres – this one in Bicester, and another one in Peterborough. And we have plenty more in store for 2026. This looks to be a very good year for motorcycling, and we can’t wait to welcome more people into the biker family, as well as making existing riders even safer on the roads.”

All new Phoenix motorcycle instructors gain a nationally recognised Level 3 Award in Education and Training qualification as part of their instructor training, giving them the ability to adapt their training style to different students and ensuring that learner needs are met at the highest standard. Phoenix also employs a number of instructors who have completed the Motorcycle Mental Health training to be able to assist learners with mental health issues.
