MCM News Magazine issue 8’s Readers Ride is Nick B’s Royal Enfield interceptor 650 here are a few words from him on it.
I passed my test this time last year (Sep 22) and this is my first bike.
I bought it privately and new that I wanted to change it in some way.
That’s the beauty of modern classics, you can change them to your taste.
I have changed the indicators front and rear using ones from Tec bike parts, and have also used the their rear led light. Both the rear light and the indicators are mounted on the original light housing.
The front indicators are mounted on the forks and I changed the headlight bracket to a black one from eBay.
I have also taken off the rear grab rail and front and rear extending mudguards. I have added a DNA air filter which does make the exhaust note sound better.
I plan to do a few more modifications, such as new end cans, new tyres as these need replacing now, a custom seat and will replace the rear shocks.[real3dflipbook id=”9″]
