Doble Motorcycles and 5Four Motorcycles have collaborated in a unique project to create a very special motorcycle – the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP 5Four.
Honda CB1000 Hornet SP 5Four Launch
Doble Motorcycles and 5Four Motorcycles have teamed up again to create the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP 5Four, a limited-edition motorcycle designed and hand-built by Guy Willison of 5Four Motorcycles.
The first production model is available for viewing at Doble Motorcycles in Coulsdon and orders are now being taken for customers wanting one of these terrific looking machines.
The Honda CB1000 Hornet SP 5Four will be exclusively available from Doble Motorcycles and each machine will be designed and assembled by Guy Willison in the 5Four workshop.
Paul Styles from Doble Motorcycles said “I am delighted with the new Honda Hornet SP 5Four. It looks amazing. Having worked alongside Guy on his previous projects with Honda and talking about this new one for so long, it’s fantastic to see it come to life. I couldn’t be more thrilled with the result. I want one myself!”
Adrian Giles 5Four Motorcycles Chairman said “Guy and I are so pleased to make our third motorcycle. We love the new Hornet and the 5Four styling has turned an already great motorcycle into an extraordinary machine”. He added “we have always had a great relationship with Paul Styles and Doble Motorcycles and we are very excited about this collaboration”
Honda CB1000 Hornet 5Four In Guy’s Own Words
“When I saw the Honda CB 1000 Hornet SP – I thought it was the perfect donor motorcycle for the third 5Four model. The incredible specification and competitive price point meant 5Four could throw everything at it to ensure the finished motorcycle delivers on the road and looks super cool at the café.
In keeping with the 5Four mantra, I have created a motorcycle that lost some weight, is super comfortable and uber cool.
As with every 5Four motorcycle attention is given to the ergonomics – every touch point the rider has with the bike is important. We want our motorcycles to create an emotional bond between owner and machine – how the bike looks, feels and sounds are everything to us at 5Four. We want every owner to drool over our motorcycles even when they are parked up a garage. We want our motorcycles to attract attention at cafes and motorcycle meetings and make owners feel that they own something very special.
The Honda CB1000 Hornet is one hell of a great bike to begin with and the 5Four enhancements will make every owner feel rebellious and cool”
Modifications To Rear
“The rear scaffolding has been removed and a new tail tidy added to provide a stylish, super clean sporting look to reveal as much of the rear wheel as possible. All mounting hardware is internal with no external bracketry. This allows the number plate to be mounted as high as possible revealing all the rear tyre.
Leather Seat and Laser Etched Rear Pad
“The full leather seat and rear pad is hand stitched in the 5Four trademark diamond pattern.
5Four Titanium Racefit Exhaust
“Racefit titanium exhaust with the 5Four/Racefit logos laser etched. Capped with the obligatory red rogue rivet to add a quintessential, made in the UK touch of class the machine.”
Dog-leg levers & Billeted Mirror
“With ergonomics again in mind I have fitted dog-leg levers and beautiful billeted mirrors.”
5Four Paintwork
“The paintwork has been inspired by the original Honda endurance racing paintwork, bought bang up to date in candy red, blue and white. Even the Honda wing logo on the tank is hand painted.”
The paint design keeps the lines flowing throughout the motorcycle. The whole paintwork has been designed to enhance the lines of the tank and tailpiece to make the whole motorcycle flow.”
The base for each Honda CB1000 Hornet 5Four is the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP

Background Information
5Four Motorcycles was founded by expert motorcycle designer and builder Guy Willison and his business partner Adrian Giles in December 2018.
Guy’s aim was to build individually numbered, limited edition hand built, thoroughbred motorcycles “for the few not the many…”
In partnership with Honda UK the first motorcycle Guy created was the Honda CB1100RS 5Four. Following on the success of that model, in the autumn of 2021, 5Four launched their second motorcycle – the Honda CB1000R 5Four.
